Second year

The second year at IBIOS trains and equipps ministring leaders with a Kingdom mentality. The course is designed for you who want to build the foundation of you personal life with God and wants to be challenged to live as a rolemodel before other disciples. The course will also take you deep into sharp theology and leadership principles and help you to carry a responsibility under supervision of one of our Church leaders.

Course

The course is split up in two equal parts, theoretical and practical training. The students are divided into different teams through which the practical training will be given. Every team will minister to different social groups of the society and the Church. The school year starts with 3 weeks of intensive teaching, prayer, team building, forming of visions and goals for the year and tutorial. Another section of 3 weeks intensive traing are held during the year.

The teaching

The teaching circulates around theology and leadership. We will study the character of a leader, his tools and how to lead out of a vision, toward specific goals, using different strategies. We go on depth with theology – the doctrine of God – through courses like Introduction to theology, The Church Fathers, Exegetics, Hermeneutics and Homiletics.

Team 09/10

This school year these teams will be issued: The Youth team, with its practical training in a local public school, evangelisation and the youth ministry. The Childrens team, with its practical training in the childrens ministry and in different schools through the project called “the Adventure of the Bible”. The Missions team, is sent to the pioneer field of Marsielle, France, where Kensington Temple operates since a few years. The worship and mercy team is trained to minister through worship and by taking care of the homless people of Stockholm. The pastoral and mercy team is involved in the pastoral ministry in City Church aswell as in the programmes for homeless and poor people.
